Winter semester 2024/2025
Course: Plasma Chemistry
Room: NB 5/132
Link to Moodle course
Scope: In this course, we will discuss the challenges of plasma chemistry in low temperature non-equilibrium and thermal plasmas as well as plasma wall interaction. Topics such as elementary plasma chemical reactions, kinetics and thermodynamics of plasma chemical processes as well as experimental and theoretical investigation methods of plasma chemistry and plasma wall interaction are discussed in detail.
The topics covered are illustrated using examples of the application of plasmas for the synthesis, decomposition and treatment of various materials in industry and science.
First lecture: Thursday, October 10th, 2024 at 12:15
Language: German / English on request
Lecturer: Judith Golda (
